The Body Book

ONLINE WORKSHOP SERIES

The Body Book is a six-part series of body/mind/soul exploration. An evolution of body-mapping the Self-Landscaping process used in The Body Book uses the paper body as our journal. Using words, images and collage to engage in a fresh dialogue with the body we will journey into the story we are living. The body holds the story, each emotion, memory, choice, laugh and tear. This process helps us identify where emotions and stresses are being held in the body, where we feel what and why. Discover exactly what you are holding, not only in the body, but the environment you are living in.  Just how much are we being asked to hold at this time?

The Actor's Body & Their Self Care

ONLINE WORKSHOP SERIES

This course is for you if . . .

  • You are an actor, or have an interest in actor training and well-being
  • You are interested in the archetypal patterns and the personal myth you are living and differentiating between yours and exploring those of a character.
  •  You are ready to open up a fresh dialogue with the body of both self and character.

The Critic & The Muse

ONLINE WORKSHOP SERIES

The intention of this practice is to explore the active relationship we have with the critic and the muse. How alive are each in us? Is one more in control than the other? What active dialogue are we engaging in with each? Using The Body Book & Self-Landscaping process and embodied writing we will use words, images and collage to engage in a fresh dialogue with the relationship we have with the critic and the muse. Experience an embodied personal relationship with both your critic and muse and clear away those fictional narratives you have created. This offering will be held over the course of three weeks for an hour and a half once a week.

Due to COVID this class will be held online via Zoom™ until further notice.

The Body In Quarantine

PRIVATE SESSION

The intention of this practice is to give the body in quarantine a platform to express who it is now and will be post pandemic. Using The Body Book & Self-Landscaping process, we will look at exactly how much we are being asked to hold in the body, from internal stresses, the culture and the environment we are living in. Just how much we are being asked to hold at this time? We are feeling into and breathing through, loosening and freeing the mind and body by putting ourselves in conversation with both conscious and unconscious content.

The Dreaming Body

Explore self-inquiry on a depth-level through your inner life with dream work.

Working with a process called Focusing, and Jungian depth-psychology we will walk through your dream images for associations and meaning. What is the unconscious content coming to the surface saying to you? What are you now ready to witness about yourself to expand into a greater self-awareness?

Object Tending

PRIVATE SESSION

What can the objects we have in our homes tell us about ourselves? Why are we more attracted to certain art images / pieces than others? In this course we will explore your connections to those objects you are most drawn to and what reference they have to your past and current life story.

Although these are normally in person appointments – until COVID is behind us these are offered as one on one hourly appointments available via Zoom™.
